Four Seasons
A small but intentional art project, Four Seasons is a print based exploration of rituals from Pagan, Hellenic, Christian, and Primitive mythologies—designed for groups and families.
When I was growing up my magical mother Spiritualist Julie was always taking me to moon festivals, new age expos, and solstice celebrations. Half of our activities she researched on her own or made up on the fly, but it was just as real as going to church or temple on the regular. Four Seasons was created to inspire individuals to do the same. Empowering people to design their own rituals and habits not in service of manifesting their best life as a singular individual, but instead to create community and participate in a collective spiritual experience.
The booklets are part of a larger project titled The Mythological Society, a church I founded in the state of California. Grant funding is a huge part of the business model so fingers crossed I can print more of Four Seasons—or other esoteric pamphlets—in the future.
